Good to know

Best start: Wednesday

Schwerin Castle and the Kunsthalle are closed Mondays, and the Feininger museum is closed Tuesdays. A Wednesday start avoids all three.

After 13 November

The Hansemuseum is half closed for maintenance from 2 to 13 November. Go after that if you can. Details

Book ahead

Time slots for the Hansemuseum and Miniatur Wunderland. The new rainforest section opens on 9 November and will be busy.

Brocken train

It runs on a November timetable (2–26 Nov). Check the HSB website the week before we go.
